SET A GOAL!

Believe it or not, we're already half way through 2010! This is a good time to reflect back upon our New Year's Resolutions. Have you been able to keep yours?


If you have, you're one of the few people who chose a realistic & achievable resolution. Congratulations!


If you haven't, then it's not too late! We recommend that rather than setting a "resolution" you set a SMART goal, which stands for:

Specific
Measurable
Action-based
Realistic
Time-Anchored

For example, saying "I will eat healthier" is too vague. There's no way to measure whether or not you've achieved your goal.

Compare that to, "I will eat five servings of vegetables, five days a week, for the next four weeks." At the end of the four weeks, it will be easy to tell whether or not you achieved your goal.

Taking the time to write down your goals can make a huge impact in your life. Sharing your goals with others helps you commit to your goals. Be brave and post your goal under the comments section here.
