RECIPE: Salmon Pasta

    Here's a great recipe for those days when you're in a hurry & need a quick, healthy dinner.

    INGREDIENTS: 
    • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat penne pasta
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 3 oz. canned salmon
    • 3 tablespoons frozen peas
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
    • Pepper and any sodium-free seasonings to taste
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
    2. Heat oil in pan and add garlic and salmon. 
    3. Sauté five minutes, stirring occasionally. 
    4. Add peas, and stir frequently for two more minutes. 
    5. Toss salmon mixture with cooked drained pasta.
    6. Sprinkle seasonings and pepper to taste.
