RECIPE: Whole Wheat Curry Pasta

This super healthy, yummy pasta dish looks gourmet, but takes only a few minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:
  • 1 package whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1⁄2 cup bell pepper, sliced
  • 1⁄2 cup onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Black pepper & any other sodium free seasonings of your choice
Instructions:
  • Cook pasta according to directions on package.
  • Cook ground turkey in olive oil until meat is browned. Set aside.
  • Saute onions and bell peppers in olive oil for 3-5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Combine turkey, veggies, and pasta. Add curry powder and mix well for 5-7 minutes. 
  • Add black pepper and any other sodium-free seasonings of your choice.
