Holiday baked goods and desserts can be very tempting this time of year. A great strategy to avoid those extra calories, while still satisfying your sweet tooth, is to make a healthy but delicious version of a decadent treat!

- 1.5 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3.5 ounces pitted dried dates (about 14 dates)
- 15 whole almonds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Spread coconut on a plate.
- Place dates, almonds, and cinnamon in a food processor and process until finely chopped.
- Form rounded 1/2 teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls with your fingers.
- Roll in coconut, pressing to coat.
