HEALTHY GROCERY SHOPPING TIPS

We often hear new BootCamp members say that eating healthfully is either 1) too time-consuming, 2) too boring or 3) too confusing.

That's why we developed a special "Grocery Store Nutrition Seminar." Our nutritionist, Narina Minassian, leads the seminar once a month and her goal is to help you find healthy, delicious food that is quick & easy to prepare.

Because of all the conflicting nutrition & diet information in the media, it's easy to be confused about what the healthiest, lightest food choices really are. Narina will dispel the myths while giving you simple, clear guidelines to follow.

She'll take you up & down the aisles, analyze food labels, and point out wholesome, natural, tasty products that are quick & easy to prepare.

Here are some of the things you'll learn at the seminar:

  • Which two flavors of hummus have half the calories of all the others?
  • When is it better to choose low-fat over nonfat products?
  • Which has the fewest calories: soy milk, almond milk or nonfat dairy milk?
  • Which are the most healthful: canned, frozen or fresh vegetables?
  • Which has the most protein: regular yogurt, Greek-style yogurt, or cottage cheese?
  • What's a delicious way to cut your peanut butter calories in half?

We'd love to have you join us for our next seminar. See the details in this week's newsletter.

You must reserve your space & pre-pay the $30 fee. To register, go to the Prices Page of our website, scroll down to Nutrition Pricing and then select Grocery Store Education Tour.
