- 1/4 lb. ahi tuna
- 2 watermelon radishes (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup sugar snap peas
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3/4 tablespoon sesame oil1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- black sesame seeds
- Marinate the ahi tuna in a mixture of the soy sauce, lemon juice, and sesame oil for a few hours, if possible, but no less than 10 minutes.
- Thinly slice the radishes with a mandolin if you have one. Otherwise slice as thinly as possible with a knife.
- Mix rice vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, grated ginger and a touch of lemon juice together for the ginger dressing.
- Sear ahi tuna in a hot pan one or two minutes on each side leaving the middle raw.
- Allow the ahi to cool and then cut into small bite-size pieces.
- Combine tuna, radish, snap peas and sesame seeds in a bowl and then add the dressing to the mix distributing evenly.
- Serve on a small plate and enjoy!
