RECIPE: I Am Whole Bowl

We recently received more than 60 submissions for our online recipe & photo contest. In a random drawing of all submissions, Celia H. was our lucky winner! Here's one of the recipes she submitted.

Tahini-Garlic Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, soaked
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 2 tablespoons miso
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup spinach
  • handful of parsley
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons kelp powder
    Instructions for Tahini-Garlic Sauce
    • Simply process/blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender to make a sauce.

    Bowl Ingredients:
    • chopped kale, raw
    • cooked quinoa 
    • tahini-garlic sauce (from above recipe)
    • Sea palm, soaked 
    • kim chee
    • carrots, julienned
    • sprouts
    • teriyaki almonds 
    • avocado 
    Bowl Instructions:
    • Cook quinoa according to package instructions
    • Simply place all ingredients in a bowl in the order listed.
