But! If you take the time to plan & prepare your meals and snacks in advance, it's easy to stay on track with healthy eating.
TIPS ON PLANNING AHEAD:
- Put aside two hours on the weekends to wash & cut up your vegetables and fruit.
- Prepare your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks the night before.
- Place your food in small portion containers so that they’re easy to grab & go.
- Purchase a cooler for the road.
- Fill up your water bottles the night before. It’s easier to have a few small ones than one large one.
- Most importantly, plan your food intake and calculate the calories for the next day before you go to bed. There are several apps & websites that can help you with your planning. Our favorite two are: PlanToEat.com and MyFitnessPal.com.
